Can't Be-'leaf' How Fun This Is!

Fall is here and that brings fall leaves from the trees. We would be so silly not to go out and play in them. They are so much fun! The girls had a blast on this day. We had fun in the leaves many other days too. I only took pictures one day because I end up spending almost the whole time raking them back into a pile for the kids. It really is one of those great childhood things that every kids must experience!

Dr. Eva Is In

The kids love to pretend... Doctoring the baby dolls in one of the girls' favorite things to do. Ryan happened to stop by to visit during a session of pretend doctor on this day. Dr. Eva got busy right away checking Ryan's health and giving him many shots in the shoulder to made him feels better. It was so adorable!

Beach Day

This friday's theme was Beach Day. We wore our summer clothes and enjoyed imagining being on the beach. Our art project that day was 'Ocean-in-a-bottle'. The kids had fun trying to get the sand and water into their bottles. After all of the messy fun, we all really loved watching the waves in our own bottles. I got them to pose for a couple of pictures with their 'ocean-in-a-bottle' but they were being super goofy! Before we took the pictures, we boogied to some music and shook our sillys out! All in all a super fun day!

I have been really strapped for spare time in the last few weeks so I am really behind on blogging and posting photos for you all. I will get that all caught up in the next couple of days. Promise!

Sara! Worms! Can We Play With Them?

While playing outside today the kids discovered some worms and were really excited that I allowed them to play with them. It's a great learning experience about something in nature and the kids think it's great. They little girls weren't sure about them at first but quickly realized it was cool when they saw the big kids holding and playing with the worms! When it was time to come inside, all the kids were sad to leave their worm friends outside where they belong :( It was good, but dirty, outdoor fun! The best kind! Don't worry moms, we all washed up really good after we can inside!

After playing outside all morning with our worms in the fresh air, Eva didn't last through lunch. She was so tired that she crashed at the table while I was cleaning up Makynna & Sean.

Big Girl Tries The Highchair

Brooke likes to see what is going on around her and really doesn't like it when I go into the kitchen to cook lunch. I decided to try putting her in the highchair so she could sit in the kitchen with me and sit up high enough to watch the kids run around. She absolutely loved it as you can see from the photos below.
