Happy Easter

To celebrate the holiday, we, again, asked our good friends, Crystal, Hayden and Makynna to come over. After everyone took naps, they arrived for some more fun! We started out with an easter egg hunt. All the kids ran around like crazy people trying to find all of the eggs. The little ones even got the hang of it pretty quickly! It was fun to watch them. After all of the eggs were found, we all sat down to open them and see what was inside. Once all the candy was collected and put into their own bags, we sat down for a special snack...Cupcakes shaped like an Easter Bunny! They all dove right into those cupcakes that had about 2" of frosting on top of them! Yum, yum! After snack was over and cleaned up we headed right outside to enjoy the rest of the afternoon! I think all the kids had a blast and I'm pretty sure they look forward to doing that again!

Little Buddies

Here are a few pictures of Makynna and Eva enjoying our outside time. They really have become good little buddies and love playing with each other! They are too cute!

Spring Lake Park Field Trip

There was no school and the weather was gorgeous so we decided it was time for a field trip! We called Crystal, Hayden and Makynna to see if they wanted to join us for a morning of fun! We went to Spring Lake Park

to play on the jungle gym and run around
playing tag

and many other

outdoor games

until

it was time

to gather

for a couple

our picnic lunch!

All the kids

had so much fun

and asked if we could

do it all again the following day.

After lunch

we walked on the path

all the way around the lake

trying to find the geese

to see if they were hungry

for a little popcorn!

After we emptied out 3 bags of popcorn

we all finished walking

the rest of the way around the lake

and back to the van to head home for a nap! The kids really enjoyed doing something different and I really enjoyed playing with them!
