Surgery Date Changed...New 'Days Off' List

Hi everyone,
Sorry for all the inconvenience...I got a call from the hospital this morning and they changed AJ's surgery date. That also requires us to change all of his pre-op and post-op appts. too. Below is the updated closing schedule for April and May. The hospital assured me that this is the one and only change they are going to make and that things are definitely going to be on this date. So I have rescheduled all the other appts. that go along with this and below is the most current dates for you...Thanks again for your understanding. I really do appreciate it.

April 5- Easter Observed (H)
April 9- Close at 4:00pm (FD)
April 13- Close at 3:00pm (FD)
April 20- Closed (C-no charge)
April 21- Closed (C-no charge)
April 22- Closed (C-no charge)
April 23- Closed (C-no charge)
April 27- Closed (C-no charge)
April 29- Close at Noon (1/2V)
May 3- Close at 2:30pm (1/2V)
May 4- Close at 4:00pm (FD)
May 18- Close at 2:30 (1/2V)
May 20- Close at Noon (1/2V)
May 31- Memorial Day (H)

(H) = Paid Holiday
(V) = Paid Vacation Day
(C) = Closed-Prorated or No Charge
(FD)=Considered Full Day

I know this looks like a lot. I'm sorry. I have tried to schedule as many appts on the same days as possible to keep the days off to a minimum. This is a very big surgery for AJ and with that comes a lot of appts. I have chose not to use vacations days during his surgery and recovery time because you will have to pay another provider for back up care during that time or take off work yourself, and I didn't feel it was fair to expect you to pay me for a whole week during that time.

April 22- Close at Noon (1/2V) *AJ 1 week post-op appt in cities*
May 4- Close at 3:30pm (FD) *All kids dentist appt*

Welcome Zoey!

Last week, we had a new addition to our daycare...Zoey. She was 7 weeks old. She does what most newborns do...eat, sleep, poop and occasionally cry. So far, she has been a really good baby and all the kids love her. They just can't help trying to touch her while she's trying to eat or sleep. They have all been very gentle with her but they have had lots of practice since it wasn't that long ago when Camellia and Mykayla were little babies. Welcome little Zoey.

Where's The Dip?

This was too cute. We were having chicken strips on this day for lunch. The kids really like to have something they can dip their food in so I gave them all a little ketchup and Eva got just as much on her as she did in her tummy.
